If it is hidden, it is hidden from unbelievers.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the depths graciously given to us by God.

The world, being far from God’s truth, often struggles to understand His salvation. Scripture teaches that only those who are born again can fully comprehend God’s ways.

1 Corinthians 2:14 states, “The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him.” This indicates that spiritual matters can seem foreign to those who haven’t experienced God’s renewing Spirit.

Similarly, Jesus mentions the Spirit in John 14:17, saying, The world cannot receive Him because it neither sees Him nor knows Him.” Without spiritual rebirth, people find it challenging to accept God’s truth.

The Bible also informs us that, in our natural state, we are spiritually dead in sin.

Romans 3:10-12 asserts, There is no one righteous, not even one; no one seeks God.” Humanity is naturally distant from God’s righteousness; without His intervention, we do not pursue Him. However, true Christians are distinct—they are spiritually alive and committed to God.

Although it may sometimes seem that Christian influence is weak or superficial in the world, this does not indicate that true believers are turning away from God.

Rather, it is the unbelieving world that resists and turns away from Him, much like Satan does.

Today, many leaders claim to preach the gospel, yet they often deliver a message that lacks the power to genuinely change hearts. Without the true gospel, there is no transformation. However, when the genuine gospel is preached, we witness God’s work as people come to faith and turn to Him. This is evidence of the saving power of God’s Word.

God promises to hold His people securely. Isaiah 41:13 reassures us, “For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Psalm 63:8 echoes this assurance: “My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.” Jesus, in John 10:28, promises that He gives His followers eternal life, stating “they will never perish; no one will snatch them out of My hand.”

This emphasizes that God’s grip on us is unwavering, and we can trust that He will keep us close throughout our lives.

With this assurance, let us move forward in faith and proclaim the true, saving message of the gospel.

The gospel holds the power to turn hearts toward God and bring about real repentance.

True salvation and transformation come only through the work of God’s grace.
